A Pink Party in a Pinch!

What do you do when a friend calls in a panic and says, ' My mom is turning 80 on Valentine's Day and I planned her birthday party, but now I've got to be out-of-town, right up to the last minute!"  Can you help me, please??"

Well, of course I won't say 'No"!
There's nothing I like better than a challenge...even if it is a spur-of-the-moment one!  So, today I spent the better part of my Saturday, pulling decorations from several different boxes that my friend dropped off, and tried to design a party befitting of a "Queen Mother". 

In a very small room of an equally small church, I decided to lavish with color - and not 'stuff'.
I think it made a difference, and hopefully 'Mom' will think so too!
