Orange You Glad its 2012?!

Start the New Year off right with a Blood Orange Champagne Cocktail.  It's even better than regular O.J. in the morning! You can find the recipe on our Pink Drinks' page...and Happy New Year!  ORANGE you glad it's 2012?!!
Cheers!

Cheers to a New Year!!

Can you believe it? In a flash, another 365 days is gone!
I always look forward to starting over, and seeing what the new year brings, don't you?
While you wait for the crystal ball to drop in Times Square, sip on a
'New Year's Sparkler' and enjoy the moment.  This is one glass of bubbly that can be an adult beverage, or a 'mock-tail' for kids, so everyone can join in the celebration! Before filling your glass, roll the rim in the latest cocktail candy...Twang's 'Bohemian Raspberry Rimming Sugar'.  It's TO DIE FOR!
(For the drink recipe, click on our Recipe Page here)

And what's New Year's Eve without champagne? Even if it's just a sip for a midnight 'toast', new champagne cocktail ideas and recipes are all over the 'net, so why not learn, before you pour?  Go to the Huffington Post online for "A Guide To Champagne and Sparkling Wines:  Choosing a Bottle for New Years".
Packing in a lot of information, as we say in Texas, you'll be 'loaded for bear'!  What a great way to kick off the New Year!
May all your dreams come true in 2012!
Cheers to a New Year!

Mmmm...Peppermint Brownie-tini!

Just when you thought it was 'safe' enough to come out of the pantry, here's one last holiday cocktail that I couldn't resist!  I mean, who DOESN'T like chocolate and peppermint together?  The combination of the two, has always been one of my favorite, and first, recollections of Christmas growing up as a little girl.  Seems like my mother had a recipe for chocolate cupcakes frosted with peppermint icing!
Over on my newest favorite food blogger, Snappy Gourmet, you'll be able to get this recipe for Peppermint Brownie-tinis, to 'wrap' up your holiday!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and.....
 Cheers!

Who Doesn't Like Holiday Cheer?

'Tis the season', as they say, and whatever you're thinking of serving this Christmas at your table, be sure and set one of these at each place setting, too!  An EggNog Martini is sure to 'get the party started', and your guests will love it!
Sometimes I find that adding a small detail like a signature drink can work wonders for your festive gathering. This holiday classic cocktail from singlemindedwomen.com is sure to warm you up when it's cold outside!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 oz Eggnog,
1 oz Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka,
¾ oz Amaretto
Directions: Combine ingredients in shaker and shake over ice. Strain into chilled martini glass. Dust with freshly grated nutmeg or cinnamon.
Cheers!

Strawberry Fields Forever....

I love, love, love strawberries!  If only they were truly in season all year long, I'd be one happy strawberry-pickin' girl!
Even in the winter, you can pluck the plump little beauties straight from your market's 'garden', and enjoy a taste of summer!

How about taking my favorite fruit and adding it to my favorite sweet?
Strawberry Santa Hat Cupcakes, of course!

...and Brownie and Blondie Bites!

Aren't these the CUTEST? And soooo simple to make!
Now, why didn't I think of that?

Apparently The Crafty Kook and Erica's Sweet Tooth did!
Cheers!
